Established in 2024 as a non-profit 501(c)3,
Connections for Adults Living Independently, Inc. (CALI) is an affiliate corporation of Southern Caregiver Resource Center.
CALI operates exclusively for the benefit of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or brain injury (ABI/TBI) by providing Supported Living Services to individuals in San Diego County.
CALI’s mission is to enrich lives, support independence, and empower disabled adults to maximize their full potential throughout their day-to-day lives.

Who is Eligible
To qualify for Supported Living Services from CALI, individuals must be current clients of the San Diego Regional Center.
CALI clients must have been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability (or closely related condition) that originated prior to age 18 and is likely to continue indefinitely.
CALI's Supported Living Services encompass the following areas: communication, learning, self-direction, capacity for independent living, economic self-sufficiency, self care, and mobility.
